Eleonora Dal Farra, a restorer, and Andrea Forti, an architect, were both born in the Dolomite Mountains and moved to Venice to study and work. They created Alcarol with the intent of merging their devotion to their land, their passion for artisanal work, and their interest in innovative crafting techniques. Sourcing raw materials between the Venice Lagoon and the nearby Dolomite Mountains, Alcarol produces furniture pieces by freezing time at the end of the material’s life cycle and giving it a new life. Using traditional artisanal methods and pioneering new techniques, Eleonora and Andrea preserve natural matter exactly as it appears in its original habitat, creating functional and unique design pieces.

Designers Huda Baroudi and Maria Hibri cofounded Bokja a design and craft studio in Beirut, Lebanon in 2000. They revive regional textile practices by redefining them in a contemporary voice, specialising in a range of fields including clothing, furniture, and accessories. With a solid network of specialized artisans, Bokja serves as a curator of textile techniques and a gatherer of personal stories.

This collection commemorates the Lebanese Revolution by assembling moments and icons, depicting them on textile. The silk pieces are beautifully hand-made by a team of exceptionally talented craftsmen and women. The robes, dresses, and shirts are all designed for a fluid silhouette, enriched by voluminous pleats. These items are to be worn by the bold and the committed, in winter or in summer, disregarding norms of gender and trend.

Mint presents New Wave a minimalist furniture collection created by Netherlands-based designer Lukas Cober. Through a conversation of raw materiality and distinctive shapes, the collection illustrates the designer’s tie to the sea and the act of gliding on the oceans force.  For the collection, the woven glass-fibre fabric is chosen for its pure aesthetics. As the standard material on the craft of building surfboards, boats and in aerospace the high-tech material is used in an altered format to create the collection. The pieces are built up in thickness by hand-layering the glass fibre layer by layer into desired shapes. In an interplay of translucence and light, the smooth shapes reveal themselves drawn as silhouettes against the surface.
