Visual Communication graduate from the RCA, Daphne Christoforou is an artist and illustrator from Cyprus currently living in London.

Christoforou is fascinated by ancient oriental artwork such as Hindu imagery, Tibetan iconography and Indian Miniature painting. She is drawn to the visual richness, naiveté and historical context of this imagery, but most importantly to its depth of meaning and link with eastern philosophy and spirituality. These are elements that she aims to incorporate in her work, with a contemporary twist.
