PET bottle lamps by Alvaro Catalan de Ocon

We saw so many special designs during this years Milan design fair, one of which were the PET Lamps from Alvaro Catalan de Ocon.  We are very familiar with Alvaro’s work as his Rayuela Stools were exhibited during our London Design Festival show ‘A Spatial Surprise‘.

The Pet bottle lamp project came about when Alvaro was invited by Helene Le Drogou, a Columbian psychologist and activist to speak about the issue of plastic bottle waste in the Columbian Amazon.
