London Design Festival 12th – 30th September 2020

For this year’s London Design Festival Mint present Bokeh which will include a collection by Theoreme Editions is a new French Maison d’Edition founded by David Giroire and Jérôme Bazzocchi. Their intention is to showcase emerging contemporary French designers. Through pieces that are sculptural, referenced, inspiring, attractive or poetic, Theoreme Editions communicates a strong and refreshing aesthetic, delivering a subtle and exciting vision of contemporary French design.

Achille Armchair by Pool Studio
The Achille Armchair is a sculpted foam curved form that is upholstered with a wool and alpaca bouclé fabric. Its comfortable curves contrast with the strict metal cube it sits on. Handmade by craftsmen in France. Limited edition of 12 numbered and signed.

Paysan Table by Services Généraux
The Paysan Table is made up of a concrete cast base and a composition of heavy-duty straps. The straps are simply tightened together with a ratchet tensioner, the pressure firming the top table. Open edition numbered and signed.

Constantin Bench by Francesco Balzano
The Constantin bench is cast in a solid block of resin. The high technicality of the piece without any joints allows the light to pass through and reveals the poetry of this creation. Handmade by craftsmen in the Netherlands. Limited edition of 12 numbered and signed.

Totem Bookshelf by Joris Poggioli
The Totem bookshelf is sculpted out of a solid block of rare Pierre Bleue de Savoie. It is mounted on a rotating system which allows it to turn softly, exhibiting either a modern bookshelf or an elegant monolithic column. Handmade by craftsmen in Portugal. Limited edition of 12 numbered and signed.

Jellyfish Lamp by Emmanuelle Simon
The Jellyfish lamp is cast in an extra-resistant plaster and a LED system fitted with a dimmer allowing for adjustment of the light intensity. Handmade by craftsmen in Belgium. Open edition numbered and signed.

Crystal Centrepiece by Garnier Linker
The Crystal Centrepieces are made of a lost-wax cast crystal. Their transparency and textures combine with light to create a pool of colour. They exist in three sizes and different colours, customisable upon request. Handmade by craftsmen in France. Open edition numbered and signed.

The Bowl Mirror structure is created from cast Chamotte Concrete. A LED system is fitted around the mirror with a dimmer allowing for adjustment of the light intensity creating a beautiful glow. Handmade by craftsmen in Belgium. Open edition numbered and signed.
