Bravo! for 2016

Here at Mint we’re bringing some warmth to 2016 by highlighting our lovely collection by Chilean design studio, Bravo!

Bravo!, the Santiago design studio, specialise in marrying traditional Chilean carpentry techniques with contemporary style. Seeking innovation through simplicity and functionality, they create objects that are founded in traditional woodworking techniques, combined with the the use of the best available technologies.

The La Familia containers, found at Mint, are made of fine Lenga wood from Patagonia and copper. These containers are defined as essential, functional and practical elements.

The whole collection stands by it’s simplicity, an attribute that gives to each container the possibility to inhabit multiple places. It is a modular system composed by 9 basic parts, that combined can complete more than 50 compositions with different shapes and containing capacities.

Through the combination of crafting techniques with new technologies, and working with local raw materials, the resulting vessels have great tactility and warmth.

In addition to their product design work, the Santiago-based studio also designs architectural interiors, integrating their designs beautifully. See below for the Bravo! coat hangers.
